The thing I love about what I do is that every day is different. People often think that specialising in MYOB software would be boring but MYOB is a fantastic piece of software that enables business owners to control their businesses with ease. So I spend every day working with great people who have amazing businesses of all shapes and sizes, across many different industries.
I started Good Business Ltd in 2006. I had worked for 6 years at Rogers & Co Chartered Accountants and really loved work variety; dealing with the IRD, doing tax returns, reconciling bank balances and general office admin and typing. But what I really liked was helping clients with their MYOB set-ups. One day I thought ‘I could do this as a whole job’ and from that seed of an idea, Good Business Ltd was born.
When I’m not on-site helping clients, I love spending time with my family. I’m an avid reader and enjoy walking so much that I’ve completed several half marathon walking events. I’m a bit of a motorbike enthusiast. My husband I have done many touring bike trips around the country. We’ve been around the Coromandel Peninsula, up to Cape Reinga, through the Haast Pass and down to Bluff. I’ve attended a Moto GP in Italy and in Australia. My desire is to be happy and enjoy life in everything I do, personally and in business.
